Die Brain Imaging Facility (BIF) im Interdisziplinären Zentrum für Klinische Forschung (IZKF Aachen) ist die zentrale Institution für die Konzeption, Durchführung und Auswertung von funktionellen Magnet-Resonanz-Tomographie (fMRT) Studien und Positronen-Emissions-Tomographie (PET) Studien innerhalb des Universitätsklinikums der Medizinischen Fakultät der RWTH Aachen. Ende 1997 wurde die Brain Imaging Facility als interdisziplinäres Teilprojekt der neurowissenschaftlichen Fächer im IZKF Aachen etabliert, um die technischen und personellen Vorraussetzungen für die Durchführung von funktionellen Bildgebungsstudien zu schaffen und die jeweiligen Messungen zu koordinieren.
